The Gideon Putnam Resort, along with Delaware North Parks & Resorts, is inspired by the beauty of National Parks and Landmarks set against a canvas of natural splendor.  Together we set out to do our part to ensure that these treasures will be here for generations.  We maintain a system of environmental management that will help us protect every square inch of land, and see that it remains magnificent for years to come.

It has been said that we do not inherit the earth from our fathers; we merely borrow it from our children.  With that thinking in mind, our parent company-Delaware North Companies, Inc. created GreenPath; a formal, documented and comprehensive environmental preservation plan.  This sense of stewardship surfaced to GreenPath Meetings.
